Mevhibe Yalçın graduated from Boğaziçi University`s Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling in 2005. She commenced her professional career with psychological counseling activities focused on LGS (High School Transition Exam) and ÖSYS (Higher Education Entrance Exam) preparation, continuing at various reputable middle and high schools for middle school and high school students. Between 2010 and 2015, she worked in the guidance department of TEV İnanç Türkeş Private High School, the only boarding school in Turkey for gifted students, concurrently taking on the responsibility of coordinating the CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) component of the IB (International Baccalaureate) program. During the same period, she pursued Co-Therapist training in Group Therapies at the Istanbul Psychodrama Institute.

From 2016 to 2018, she held the positions of psychological counselor at Robert College and project supervisor in the Community Service Program. During her tenure in guidance departments, she received supervision and training from psychoanalytically oriented clinicians who were members of the Istanbul Psychoanalysis Association. In 2018, she completed her master`s degree in Human Rights Law at Istanbul Bilgi University, focusing on teachers` access to mental health services.

Continuing her professional development, she completed the EFTA-TIC approved Family and Couple Therapies training provided by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Dokur and currently works as a psychotherapist. While working with adolescents, she employs solution-focused brief therapies and utilizes counseling techniques related to exam preparation and career guidance for high school and university students. Her psychological counseling and psychotherapy practice mainly targets children aged 10 and above, as well as young adults. In addition, she conducts individual therapy for adults and provides family and couple therapies. As of 2023, she is continuing her theoretical training at the Psychodialectic School.
